Geometry-free Ambiguity Success Rates in Case of Partial Fixing

چکیده

GPS ambiguity resolution is the process of solving the unknown cycle ambiguities of the carrier phase data as integers. It is the key to fast and high precision relative GPS positioning. Since unsuccessful ambiguity resolution, when passed unnoticed, will often lead to unacceptable errors in the positioning results, very high success rates are required for ambiguity resolution to be reliable. In this contribution we present and evaluate the probability of correct integer ambiguity estimation for the ionosphere-weighted geometry-free GPS model. Particular attention is given to a partial fixing of the ambiguities.

Bias Robustness of GPS Ambiguity Resolution

GPS ambiguity resolution is the key to fast and high precision relative GPS positioning. Since unsuccessful ambiguity resolution, when passed unnoticed, will often lead to unacceptable errors in the positioning results, very high success rates are required for ambiguity resolution to be reliable. Biases which are unaccounted for will lower the level of the ambiguity success rate and thus increa...

Precise Point Positioning with Partial Ambiguity Fixing

Reliable and rapid ambiguity resolution (AR) is the key to fast precise point positioning (PPP). We propose a modified partial ambiguity resolution (PAR) method, in which an elevation and standard deviation criterion are first used to remove the low-precision ambiguity estimates for AR. Subsequently the success rate and ratio-test are simultaneously used in an iterative process to increase the ...

On the error sensitivity of the GPS ambiguity success rate

GPS ambiguity resolution is the process of resolving the unknown cycle ambiguities of the double-difference (DD) carrier phase data as integers. It is the key to highprecision relative GPS positioning, when only short observation time spans are used. Once the integer ambiguities are resolved, the carrier phase measurements will start to act as if they were high-precision pseudo range measuremen...

GPS + Galileo tightly combined RTK positioning for medium-to-long baselines based on partial ambiguity resolution

With the modernization of the GNSS, the techniques of multi-GNSS navigation and positioning are becoming increasingly important. For multi-GNSS double-difference data processing, a tight combination (TC) strategy can provide more observations and higher reliability, which emploies a single reference satellite for all observations from different GNSS. However, multi-GNSS will bring some challeng...

A method of undifferenced ambiguity resolution for GPS+GLONASS precise point positioning

Integer ambiguity resolution is critical for achieving positions of high precision and for shortening the convergence time of precise point positioning (PPP). However, GLONASS adopts the signal processing technology of frequency division multiple access and results in inter-frequency code biases (IFCBs), which are currently difficult to correct. This bias makes the methods proposed for GPS ambi...
